the inability to afford or access the necessary menstrual products, hygiene facilities, and education required to manage menstruation with safety and dignity.

Who We Are
Founded in 2019, the Black Periodt. Project is a growing non-profit dedicated to ending period poverty and advancing menstrual equity across the Southeast. Through community-led initiatives like our Red Bin Project and annual P.A.D. Rallies, we provide essential hygiene products, advocate for the end of the "Tampon Tax," and empower the community through education. We aren’t just providing access—we’re fighting for menstrual justice.
